I just updated Stardock Central and noticed the new browsing features. Is this a beginning of a Phaseout of the SkinBrowser? I mean, it is a pretty nice feature for SDC to do everything, so this is no gripe, just curious.

The MFC DLLs 4.2 files are missing..........I'm sure T-Man will get a handle on it.

Since I updated SDC all but 1 of the Sticky threads have disappeared in General Discussion.........  0 showing in Help, and 2 showing in Skinning.

Yeah, I have the same thing. Since WC Browser doesn't have any (and never has) and IE site shows the correct number my guess is that T-Man ran out of daylight....maybe tomorrow

I can't log into my Stardock.net account in the new SD Central > I can still log into my Stardock.net account in WC and my web browsers (IE and Mozilla). I can't figure out what's wrong.

Click on 'Edit Stardock Account' (while you're there make sure info is right) click ok and then re-start SDC. For some reason in the past, that sometimes jump starts the proggie. You can also switch your connection and see if that server lets you in.

I tried both suggestions. It still fails to log in.

You don't have a cookie killer running, do you?

right click on the discussion tool bar where the different sections are displayed and then click reset... it should download all of the messages on each respective section, dunno about you watched threads though
you might also be able to move your discussion files from the WinCBrowser into the SDCBrowsers folders for discussions?

No, I have nothing like that running in the background. The only anti-spy software I use is Ad-Aware which I run a scan with once a week. The only cookies it finds to delete are tracking cookies from advertisers. I have even tried disabling my firewall and anti-virus software and SD Central still fails to log in.

Go to https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp log in and then try SDC again while you still have IE running

I'm not a great believer in un-install/re-install processes, but in this case, since no one else seems to have the same problem, it might be the way to go........
